This is about Enid, the Bronx, and America and its pastor(s) and the oveja(s) or sheep that follow them. It could be Cristo es Rey in Florida and churches everywhere. There has been great shame as a community had to deal with one of their own who was popular and who betrayed many of its people, but there is more.
And Donald Trump comes into play in all of this and specifically because he supported people who were chanting “Jews will not replace us.”
Enid, Oklahoma? I am not thinking about the Iglesia Pentecostal or Evangelicals. It’s that part of town that just voted and the election was non-political although this town and the county are heavily Republican. What has taken place?
Knowledge entered the politics about a candidate who the community found out participated in the infamous rally in Charlottesville, Virginia and this involved White Supremacists there and in Enid. Judd Bliven, the candidate, had to face another election to be commissioner and he just lost. He had been involved, deeply involved.
You can see what might have been a highly disgusted community, but do they know that Donald Trump because of Charlottesville and his handling of it and other issues has been declared an “enabler” of antisemitism? Would that matter to those voters? It’s really hard to say, but it does look like racism was rejected in the election because of Judd Bliven’s involvement in racist activities that were made public.
Turnouts are usually low there, but look what happened now including a huge turnout. Do those voters know that based on Trump’s performance over Charlottesville and other things that Trump has been defined as an “enabler” of antisemitism by experts. The heavy vote does appear to be about rejecting Judd Bliven for his participation in racist activities.
2023 Judd Bliven wins 422-386
2024 or just now Judd Bliven lost 829-561
Yes 386 people voted for Judd and we do not know how many of the same people did not care enough to change their vote. It would be amazing to conduct interviews with the voters there.
And those voters have to find out more about this article. The United States won World War II in 1945 after the atomic bomb was dropped on Japan and this article may have a nuclear capacity to take down Donald Trump. We can go back to Father Coughlin and find out just how he expected his listeners to vote Republican and they did not. We can go back to the McCarthy Era and learn how Republicans helped exorcise him and his evil ways. Richard Nixon wouldn’t even sit near him.
The election is over in Enid, but now Enid has to deal with the fact that Donald Trump is “enabler” of antisemitism. The clock is ticking as another election is coming up in November.
This is a warning to the Bronx and Hispanic communities everywhere. People keep saying that the Hispanic community is leaning toward the Republican Party of Donald Trump, and it could be true. But let’s learn much more from this article and the research that I have done.
I contacted Ruben Diaz, Sr. and there was no reply. I wrote again this morning. I have known the pastor since 2003 when Pastor Juan Castillo of Brooklyn introduced me to the organization. There were things that I still remember about that meeting with pastors. I spoke about a way to help his community without going to class (I am known around the country and the world now for my work back then) and Ruben asked me “where are the classes.” Another thing that happened is this. Before I even did my presentation, he spoke to his pastors telling them that he was not going to give them Hillary Clinton’s phone number since he worked so hard to obtain it. I guess that was his style of Christianity and leadership back the. I got to see Ruben in other meetings, and I once went over to see him outside his hotel in Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic.
Recently, I noticed on FACEBOOK, his endorsement of Donald Trump. I called his organization and emailed his email address with my article (in English) that the 1924 legislation that started to make it illegal to cross the border was the most antisemitic legislation. I have not heard from him.
What brought me to write all this about Ruben Diaz, Sr. It was a hunch about his stance on immigration. In 2010, research about him revealed that he blamed the police operation in Arizona, but blamed Congress and President Obama (without mentioning his name) for no action on the promise to have reform). He diminished the importance of concentrating on Arizona and the hostile environment there at that time. Sheriff Joe Arpaio was convicted and pardoned by Donald Trump eventually. And Diaz promoted the idea of demonstrators to go to Washington, D.C. instead of going to Arizona to protest.
It was all about migrants and that law of 1924 which I will get to shortly. We had people all over the United States saying “Let Trump be Trump.” He brought attention to the border by saying that Mexico wasn’t sending US its best people, but “some” of them were okay. What Bible was he reading from? And we must turn to the origin now in 1924 when the authors of the immigration bill (Republican) spoke about Jewish immigrants as “filthy, un-American, and often dangerous in their habits.” That was your Christian nation, a Bible reading nation.
I finally noticed that Diaz, Sr. was no friend of the migrants as he endorsed Trump and his border policies. And what about the Bible and the story of Joseph and his brothers who entered Egypt during a famine. Joseph and that government helped out. Any of Diaz’s disciples who go along with this are also guilty of forgetting their Bible lessons. And that goes for others around our nation. The same shame that prompted a new election in Enid, Oklahoma should be openly discussed among all Christians in America right now. It’s this reconstruction of history that we can call What Ruben Diaz, Sr. and other Christians should know. The title was taken from the reverend’s own column and made popular by him.
And by going along with Trump’s border politics and without thinking about it, Diaz, Sr. placed himself among those men and women in history that would not take the Jews in when Hitler rose to power. And it only took a decade after 1924 for the world to see what was taking place.
Let’s go back to 1938 in America and Kristallnacht had already taken place. It was Roosevelt in the White House, but it could have been Trump instead. Trump and Miller!
I wrote this in September 2019 after reading about Austria in 1938. “In Austria 1938, the effort to gain a visa was full of the most horrendous, time consuming tiers of things that had to be done. There was fraud involved and often Jews who had gone through many of the procedures had to begin all over. The level of desperation was heightened by Hitler’s procedures. There was a certificate of fiscal harmlessness, then payments, then a visit to obtain a certificate of domicile, then a visit to the district commissioner’s department in the town hall, then a visit to the Accountancy Department of the central tax office and the district tax office, then to step two if the person had the money to pay for the emigration tax, then a visit to a place where the Jew’s assets were released and a certificate of good conduct was issued, that’s when Jew’s could be forced to start all over as they could be assigned by the Nazis to clean up things and lose their turn, then to stage three where to obtain a passport which involved being interrogated at a police station, and then on to two other offices that Jews dreaded to go to. And finally Jews had to swear that they were never going to return to Austria. And Trump is for extreme vetting. Where did he learn it from?”
Is it not true that under Trump, migrants were prevented from coming to the United States and that El Salvador and Mexico were in agreement with Trump’s plan. A wall was constructed or I should say a wall was not completed. The border really remained open and it stays that way today (I got a report from Texas from an eye witness). And President Biden has been a great improvement over FDR. Immigration reform was needed before Hitler got out of control.
I was learning more. That was about Netanyahu and Jabotinsky before Jabotinsky’s death in 1940. Can you imagine if Jabotinsky had a team of Jews in Eastern Europe using loudspeakers to warn all Jews to flee their homes (3 million or more) and head for well America. As the story We Were the Lucky Ones is being told right now in film, think of millions of “Lucky Ones” arriving at Donald Trump’s border, caravans of “Lucky Ones.”
Although Latinos from Puerto Rico were not so numerous back then, just the thought of the above description (fictional with Trump in 1938), would have placed Diaz, Sr. (but not Diaz, Jr) with the Ku Klux Klan, the previous America First, Father Coughlin, racist Republicans, and most Americans (cannot think of any Black people who participated), German-Americans and immigrants who I forgot about for the moment.
And let’s not forget Lee Zeldin, Elise Stefanik, John Catsimatidis, Curtis Sliwa-Arnaldo Salinas, and many others who along with millions of Americans would have not allowed Jews in.
And Diaz, Sr. and his clergy vote for conservative values. It was a “conservative value” that resulted in the Holocaust and keeping Jews out until after World War II was over.
The clergy that I am appealing to across our nation can become unconfused about all this. Jews, too, who came to America and say that people have to wait their turn to enter instead of saying that I wish all Jews could have entered immediately before 1938 and after 1938 need a lesson too. I need a worldwide loudspeaker now to get the whole truth out.
And Pastor Samuel Rodriguez states this (National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference)
“Latino evangelicals, especially immigrants, flee countries ruled by authoritarian communist or fascist regimes with racist policies.” Pastor Rodriguez wants border security (as does Biden and others), but I guess the pastor never figured out that Trump would have blocked Jews as I have described.
So what are we going to do about teaching all this to the Bible vote. Bible belt=Bible vote. That Bible belt now called Donald J. Trump=Jesus impacts in the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Nassau County, Suffolk County. It has corrupted the minds of people of all faiths, ethnic groups, and races. Ruben Diaz, Sr. can find common ground with Ed Romaine in Suffolk County and Bruce Blakeman in Nassau County. The shame should be felt all over our nation and it can be felt during the campaign for president. That is if Democrats do the right thing.
MSNBC just reported that the leader of the Charlottesville rally was a classmate of Stephen Miller at Duke, the author of Trump’s immigration policy and Richard Spence called for Hitler like salutes to honor Donald Trump. And Mark Levin, a Trump supporter, says that Biden is evil. Perhaps Levin would tell his audience how I said that FDR was not so good. And maybe Levin might look at himself in the mirror to decide if he has been evil himself for a long, long time. And Stephen Miller has gone from separating families at the Mexican border to overturning DEI programs at colleges and universities.
