Congress and its insanity. Let’s have another Congressional hearing where the truth comes out. And Dershowitz continued to talk about free speech on campus recently telling people let them say what they want. Suddenly his tune has been modified over the Israeli-Palestine issue. And I found out that Dersh wanted the “hard left” to stand up for free speech (of the right at that time) and he criticized some college leaders as well.
And I have written over and over that Congresswoman Foxx gave no help so that everyone on campus could feel safe or be safe.
This is the congresswoman who was talking higher thinking skills back in December 2023. And I knew what her problem(s) was back at that time. Remember when she spoke about the presidents of the Ivy League 3 who would not denounce calls for genocide of Jews on campus. She provided no help and even today provides no help, telling college presidents to get things under control. Donald Trump comes to mind as he sat and watched the trouble at The Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Do I have to write even more after all that has happened? I knew what the pro-Palestinian protestors could increase exponentially, and they have. Yale students are joining Columbia students, and all you have to read in the NYU student newspaper is this. NYU students have joined the protests too. Those are three huge institutions where the potential for violence exists or has already taken place. Congresswoman Foxx never belonged in power at this critical time. And that means Stefanik and others. And I wonder, during this difficult time, if all ID’s are being checked carefully by security as people enter the buildings on campus.
It was one thing when the protestors were outside The Capitol in 2021, but a highly different security problem once people smashed windows to force their way in.
And among other things, Jews, even appearing on Fox News, have cited the need for Jews and Muslims to be protected. I took note of that, thinking about how the staff of Fox News did not even expect to hear that since their programming was benefitting Jews and not Muslims.
Congresswoman Foxx has not done anything to support the Palestinian view of a right to protest, and the reason is obvious. The divide and conquer principle is the reason(s) and to demand “loyalty” from Jews in the next election, The battle has been between two sides only, but I noticed that pro-Palestinian leaders on campus have just made it clear about extreme comments made by some of the protestors that should not be.
Could you imagine Jewish people on campus telling Palestinians and Muslims that they only care about what happens to Jews. That would inflame and make things worse.
Students on campus, perhaps many. object to the racism and comments like “go back to Poland.” Where did I learn this? Not from Fox News or any similar media. It came from reading Al Jazeera. Of course, I know that many of those people have to learn much more now as well. For example, it would be great to go back to “free speech” without violating any of the campus rules. And it would a great idea for Congresswomen Foxx and Stefanik to share a tent for a little while with some of those protestors, causing Congress to reflect on the situation that they helped create by taking no action to help, including providing funds to security on campuses. These same Republicans nixed financial supports to synagogues also that are badly needed now as synagogues are being threatened.
From my desk in my home, I have noticed how Foxx and Stefanik have been covering up the antisemitism that I wrote about during the Trump Administration, and nothing was done about that. This is the passing of the blame to a new administration (2021 to now). Professor Lipstadt wrote about things that even preceded Trump and it is time for everyone to learn the whole truth about what has been going on in this nation.
And I knew that the war was going to make things far worse. I see people that still do not have a clue as they speak to the media. What you are witnessing was inevitable.
I was researching more, and Fox News wrote that Columbia does not want NYPD on campus, but the spokesperson for the police said that Columbia asked for police help. Misleading information from Fox News again, again, again, again.
I searched for more things and found an interview with CBS and Mayor Eric Adams where Lilia Luciano asked the mayor about security risk on campus. We both noticed that the mayor did not answer the question and Luciano repeated that important question. The mayor decided to answer stating that there was no security risk. And I should tell you now that Luciano had been on campus herself and had spoken out that what she observed was a peaceful protest.
Congresswoman Stefanik and other Republicans want the Columbia College president to resign. Democrats are concerned and keeping their eyes on things as both hold sessions together and separately. But do they realize that they have not provided the help needed from the beginning in December 2023 when the Congressional hearing took place? Do they? I wrote in this article that more security on campus would be helpful for a reason.
And one more thing. There is a big controversy in London over Gideon Falter who a police officer called “openly Jewish” and Falter resented that. Falter is executive director of Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA). And in New York City a rabbi has told Jewish students to stay home from Columbia (and another did the opposite) largely because Jewish students are “openly (my quote) Jewish on campus. Does it make you wonder about Jewish leadership? I know that I wonder.
