Navalny is in the news, and he was not sent to Mar-A-lago or any place like it. Soviet history which is communist history tells US that the place to be is in Siberia. Just the name sends chills down my spine. But Navalny was not sent to Mar-A-lago nor to Siberia. He is the Arctic right now. He was sent to the harshest of the Gulags that many call “Polar Wolf.” They said Monday that he had been traced to a prison colony infamous for severe conditions in the Yamalo-Nenets region, 1,200 miles northeast of Moscow. “I am your new Santa Claus,” Navalny said in a tweet, in prison in the town of Kharp.

I hope that you can tell from what I wrote that I chose my right to remain silent about what I felt. I could have been wrong, but I expected the worst. In the Soviet Union, all that was needed was to pour water on people in Siberia and bring about instant death. Navalny died in his jail cell.

There are two pieces of news about Putin to share. The first one is that Putin says he favors Biden in the White House. Keep in mind all the financing of the Ukraine War by the United States (Biden) that has resulted in death and destruction for Russians. Putin left Trump alone except for diminishing him a little. This paragraph belongs in all homes across the United States. I could write that Hitler said that he loved the Jews to reinforce my point.

Now we can move along to Tucker Carlson who did the interview with Putin that has rocked the world. Let’s not focus on Carlson and those articles about how big and great the supermarkets are.

Putin spoke negatively about the man that has been given him great support and almost leading the charge against Biden since Putin attacked Ukraine. I have seen lots of dumb things, particularly by Fox News. But Putin takes the cake. During this war, he has been critical of communists and fascists the way that Trump has. Putin-Trump is the tag team creating problems everywhere and NATO is just one piece of the puzzle. In other words, Putin does not favor Biden at all. Their talk about communists and fascists is not as strong as it has been and principally because Trump directed attention back to the border issue and that is where Trump was at the beginning of the war.

Hitler made nice with Stalin before turning on Stalin. Stalin would have done the same thing to Hitler. But Biden has not been making nice to Putin at all and Putin is acting as though Biden is “the man.” All these efforts are fake. And MAGA will love it all since Putin has declared that he supports Biden (again).

North Korea and Iran are in the news for helping Russia and now Iran is making a claim to Alaska. Is Alaska part of the United States? MAGA people have set up a GoFundMe for Trump since Trump’s must pay hundreds of millions of dollars. Maybe Saudi Arabia is going to chip in? MAGA lost in 2020 and it is in ways just as out of control as it was in January 2021. There was a time when Obama was in trouble for supporting Iran and now Iran is supporting Trump’s efforts.

Alaska is a place that I have mentioned in association with Mother Russia since it was Russian (along with part of California) and now a Russian legislator is asking for Alaska back. I am not surprised at all.

And more and more people are seeing the light, particularly after Russia kind of imposed sanctions on Hilary Clinton and others. Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing? Trumpf would have you believe that Putin wanted Biden elected so that he would not take any blame for anything that happened. So there is Mother Russia spelling out its very own conflict with Biden, Clinton, and the good people of our nation. And with that said one of Trumpf’s tremendous acolytes keeps pounding away at the Ukraine, citing the same corruption that Trumpf gave US as he held back military help from the Ukraine.

And with 2024 approaching in the not too distant future, both Trump and Putin want to win. Based on all the evidence before and much more coming out about places like Texas and Florida the strongest Republican ticket may not be Trump-Carlson at all. It would merely take another idea to generate for the American people what I saw was happening from 2017-2021 and the Repugnicans are capable of it. They can suddenly grant citizenship to Putin (grandfathered in since Alaska was Russian in the 19th century) and provide US with a Putin-Trumpf ticket. Putin is younger and stronger than Trumpf and even Tucker Carlson would be happy about that since with Putin at the helm of the United States it could represent both the interests of Americans and Russians against China. And Carlson gets lots of Rytzi hotels everywhere.

You must know how the Carlton (purposely misspelled as well as Ritz) is by now whose name should appear on hotels from Moscow throughout the Ukraine. They (those two men) have the money, power, and influence to get things done in their own interests.

I have ended the words I wrote concerning Alaska back then and proceed with this new article.

And anyone that has studied history and/or is studying history should know that Poland was attacked by both Hitler and Stalin and at its moment of greatest need as Soviet troops were finally free to move across Europe instead of just fighting desperately for the motherland Stalin did not intervene to help Poland against Hitler. And Putin has stated that Hitler and the Polish people were working together in that Tucker Carlson interview. And that Poland did not cooperate enough with Hitler. Putin was detailing Nazi propaganda at that point. So Poland was responsible for Hitler attacking it. And in this scenario, Hitler became a “victim” as people wrote about that interview.

That level of misinformation is consistent with so much of Make America Great which has diminished America. In other words Trump has really give US Americant. Ask the Ukrainians how they feel about Republicans that are loyal to Trump.

Can you imagine Trump’s version of what happened to Navalny? Putin would tell him that he didn’t do it.

Americant! Americant! Ameritcant! We cannot fund Ukraine and Israel.

And in the United States today, Donald Trump is saying that Nikki Haley supported Obama over Mitt Romney. But think Hitler-Stalin and Trump-Putin.

Putin and Tucker Carlson are in the middle along with Chris Cuomo.

Geraldo says that Donald Trump should be able to run again or stay on the ballot because he has not been convicted in court.

Chris Cuomo has said that he sees nothing existential with ether Donald Trump or Joe Biden running for president.

Tucker Carlson did an interview with Putin in which Putin said in 1939 that the Polish government collaborated with the Nazis at the time of Hitler’s invasion of Poland which started World War II.

Marco Rubio says that Trumps latest mess in which Trump declared that if NATO does not pay more for its defense that Russia attacking any of those NATO countries would sit well with him because of the fact that he wants those countries to pay more. That is the context of what he was talking about and Rubio said that Trump was just telling a “story.”

What is your opinion of each person and his comments. And would you think more deeply about each one. Education matters!

I quickly reacted to an article about the removal of statues (extremely hated ones developed during the Communist Era) and decided to share my thoughts. It was only recently that I read a book that I have written about with material on World War II, Roosevelt, Churchill, Stalin, world events, and Yalta. Stalin was pointing out that millions of lives lost before 1943 as he battled Hitler’s troops. The United States was not helping that matter with troops, but military aid was huge, and it was costing Americans money., Finally Stalin got what he wanted, and the result is big history. The invasion of Normandy which would cause Hitler to remove lots of troops away from the Soviet Union. And the European phase of the war would end much sooner. I was thinking about researching how Evangelicals back then portrayed the American-Communist victory over Nazi Germany?

But let’s turn now to the article that provoked me. And I am provoked and on fire. So let me get to some flame throwing at Trump who is now gone into the “traitor” zone (again) as Republicans protect him.

Statues are more important to Trump than the lives of people in Ukraine, Poland, France, Germany, etc. (31 countries).

Outside a museum, which detailing accounts of Soviet repressions and deportations of Jews, lie several downed statues and severed body parts.

Thousands of statues were downed that honored Bolsheviks. Ain’t that Russian history Donald?

There was opposition from getting rid of statues back then. Confederates?

Some feel the statues are needed in order to “inoculate” themselves against that hateful Soviet regime and it should not be a time to erase those bad memories.

There are all kinds of reasons for keeping some of those monuments and getting rid of others (some have the names of family members on them).

Trump should go to Russia for a few years to help Putin with the fight over the statues and monuments.

Lviv took down 312 statues and is in the lead among places in Ukraine. Millions of people were killed by the Communists. Ask Ben Shapiro. He will tell you about it, but he supports Trump. I guess the South had to commit genocide against most of America’s slaves to be compared to Stalin and the Soviets.

Immunity for Trump? Putin can provide Trump with immunity. Trump can go to Russia and help Make Russia Great Again. Putin really didn’t do that well against Ukraine. Let’s not forget that. Trump is another one of those strongmen who is nothing more than a great pretender with tens of millions of supporters.

Telling Russia to think about attacking NATO. ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No I would not protect you. In fact I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You gotta pay.” That was the strong man Trump speaking.

This could be the worst message of a private citizen in American history since Douglas MacArthur was caught sending a message about starting a war to two fascist dictators in Spain and Portugal. And I sense that Trump will say also that he can call off the dogs in 24 seconds or minutes.

Inflation was the big issue and now that inflation is low, Republicans have seized on making the border the big issue. But how can the border issue be bigger than what Trump has done? World War. 31 nations under attack by Putin.

This takes US back to Russia are you listening when Trump campaigned against Hillary and asked for its help. Now he is going beyond expectations at a time that his lawyers have failed him in court. He owes money and his most important cases are proceeding as his due process rights are respected. His mental state has to be called into question as well and he knows that part of due process.

The question about denouncing Trump should ring out as loud as the Liberty Bell rings out freedom. I am thinking about those IVY League presidents and schools under attack for not saying yes or no in denouncing genocide. Foxx, Stefanik, and others wishing to be elected like Mazi Pilips on Long Island. Denounce Trump? Do you see that coming? It’s not just about Trump. And it’s time for our nations universities to fight back more strongly than previously since what happened those presidents if that they correctly answered the questions posed to them and showed that context matters. Here we see Trump and his context about Russia attacking our people and his comments just took place. His context matters more to repugnicans than university personnel that are working hard to overcome antisemitism and hate on campuses.

Italy, France, Poland, Spain, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Albania, Belgium, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Iceland, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Portugal, Montenegro, Lithuania, Norway, Turke, Latvia, Denmark, Croatia, North Macedonia, Romania, Hungary, United States, Bulgaria

And will Trump supporters in all those nations denounce Trump? Think Hungary in particular.

Every nation in the world has citizens living in those countries and that means the USA as well.

This is another page from the Trump play book. It is time for everyone to cancel him.

I am prepared to provide a Zoom to Democrats, Independents, and others in your district. It is time for US to end this campaign of “we don’t approve of Trump’s words, but we like his policies.”

Since 2019, I have been telling people that denouncing this and that is insufficient, and we need action not words. You will read a lot about Congresswoman Foxx and her mistakes shortly.

1938 Hitler Resolution Trump 2024

November 8, 1923 was Hitler’s Putsch attempt and he would up in jail.

November 9, 1938 was the start of The Night of Broken Glass or Kristallnacht.

Joseph Goebbels gave Hitler the idea. After all the murder and destruction and violence, Hitler met Goebbels on November 10, 1938 in Hitler’s favorite restaurant in Munich, the Osteria Bavaria. Popitz, the Prussian Minister of Finance, said to Goebbels that the perpetrators must be punished. Goring replied, “My dear Popitiz, do you wish to punish the Fuhrer?”And Hitler continued to keep his role a secret. That was his strong resolution.

January 6, 2021 is now the subject of a resolution. Do you get it? Matt Gaetz and scores of Republicans are in on the Trump Resolution 2024.

Kristallnacht and the Insurrection. And Hitler never went to jail.

At this moment, the owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft is going to launch a message during the Super Bowl about hate in this country. The news is that he sees just how our nation is heading back toward the 1930s and 1940s. I have made him aware today that Donald Trump, a friend of his, has been declared an “enabler” of antisemitism. All of this goes back to Trump and his behavior over Charlottesville, Virginia, and chants about “Jews will not replace US.” Of course there is more.

Now turning to Congresswoman Foxx who recently did not allow a reporter to ask a question about Donald Trump. She was the most vocal of that opposition. She does not really believe in “free speech.” Why? She is more interested in power. I have no doubt that her office serves the constituents well, but she fits well into the Hitler-Trump comparison. And she is not the only one. Trump is the wrong choice right now and Foxx is wrong. What she did with The Ivy League 3 in that Congressional hearing was wrong. The White House got it wrong as well. That was a bipartisan mistake.

There will be more on that later.

And look at what I uncovered by reading about and learning about the Soviet Union. We are being told that “woke” comes from communism or the Soviet Union.

And let me start an effort to correct misinformation prevalent in the United States and perhaps elsewhere. The word “woke” has been attributed by lots of people incorrectly. Social justice is the theme of the “Dreyfus Affair” and Captain Dreyfus finally obtained justice after a decade. He was exonerated. The word “woke” in American politics is attributed to communism or Marxism. Jews were guaranteed equality in the Soviet Union from the beginning, but finally in the 1960s it came to light of the existence of antisemitism in the Soviet Union and even in Yiddish news that was supportive of the Soviet rulers. “The Psychology of Prejudice” was released, and that paper was based on the prejudicial behavior against Jews and Negroes in the United States. That sparked a call to eradicate this evil. Soviet Jews were finally able to achieve freedom with their feet as they left the Soviet Union and moved in great numbers to the United States, Israel, and other countries. All the talk about “woke” and the media parroting the word, adds up to the same effort of the Soviet Union to diminish or eliminate something evil that exists both officially and privately.

And here I am trying to bring France and the United States together as I try to help North Carolina and we see this news about Putin and Trump. And right now! Today. And this means that Putin has made himself into an ally of the right-wing forces of the United States (CD#5 North Carolina). Now to the headline for this information on Trump, Putin, Carlson.

And Republicans have held back aid to Ukraine since I wrote that (and to Israel).

Twenty-six percent of Americans have a favorable view of Putin right now (what about North Carolina?). A year ago, the figure was fifteen percent. The desire to end the war against Japan quickly through negotiation was being talked about and now Putin wants to end a war that he started and knows he cannot win to go to the peace table and will a possible Trump victory in sight in less than one year Putin knows he can count on Trump. Had Trump already served two terms things would be different, or would they? Trump just caused the border security bill to crash and he did it from outside the White House. Tucker Carlson has been called this for his interview with Putin “a useful idiot” and “traitor.” The danger is there and North Carolina has to be told that.

This issue should be bigger than immigration right now. How do we make it that?

The Bible tells US to tell the truth and Christian White Supremacy might tear down our democracy right now. True there are lots of Black people, Latinos, and others involved. There were Mexican fascists during the 1930s at a time when one of the epicenters of hate was Asheville, North Carolina.

Has anyone read The Wilmington Lie about the massacre of Black people in Wilmington, North Carolina 1898. This led to the powerful Jim Crow and segregation that we have all learned by heart and Democrats have been given that responsibility for those decades.

But the Election of 1876 was a draw and it was settled by both parties. The Republicans turned the South over to the Democrats back then and the U.S. Army which protected Black citizens was removed.

And while Black people were being massacred in N.C. an appeal went out to a Republican president who chose not to take action. That information belongs in all the schools of South Caroline (thinking of Florida under DeSantis) and in all schools across our nation. The president was William McKinley.

And did you know that in New York, close to where I live now, that back in the day Republican chairman on Long Island were also members of the Ku Klux Klan?

In May 2020, Trump had to learn from his official pollsters that he was on track to lose. What caused it? Biden was prepared to spend money in Build Back Better. If Trump had had a similar plan and spent even less money, he probably would have won the Election of 2020. Trump’s pollster with Biden’s pollster did a presentation together where that information came out, but that was long after Trump Created the Election Lie.  In North Carolina that truth may be consistent with The Wilmington Lie.

This should remind students of history who know just how vast regions of the United States supported Franklin D. Roosevelt after his plan to build back better was to use government funds and resources when Herbert Hoover wanted to get US out of a Depression through private donations.

This news just came in from overseas. Remember that Trump did things to undermine NATO while in office.

Look at that and think like Trump. We know the things that he says to cause his constituents to parrot his words or using the 1930s-1940s comparison that Republicans will walk the goosestep of the Nazis. Can we hear him tell all Americans that nothing will happen to the United States and that he gets along great with Putin?

Putin got along great with Netanyahu in Israel and now Putin’s allies include Iran and North Korea. Republicans have not turned out such great friends of Israel as almost as many Republicans support and do not support Israel in its fight against Hamas. And only 17 Republicans in the Senate voted along with Democrats for aid to Ukraine and Israel.

Trump in the White House would be disaster for Ukraine which was attacked by Russia. And ending the war there would allow Russia more time to rearm and take other action if and when Russia decides to strike what were our allies before Trump. Trump’s ally is talking to you all the time about the Southern Border.

Did you know that Trump made a deal with President Bukele of El Salvador and Trump gave El Salvador millions. Bukele was honest enough to reveal a recorded talk that the Trump wall was not going to stop migrants from coming to America (our Southern border). And they didn’t stop coming as things got worse around the world. I wish my family could have fled in the 1940s to Mexico to cross the border when the United States kept people out.

And did you know that Fox News recently reported that 4,500 migrants came across the border and waited in line to be processed for asylum?  Did you know that an electric saw was used to cut through the wall and that opened the border, making it easy to come in. No climbing, no fear of injury, no one taken to the hospital.

Most of the time in the past 20 years most of my efforts to reach people was about helping with high school equivalency, but as early as 2002 I knew why students do not pass their state exams (not those that don’t study).

In the last year of public record for the GED (2013), North Carolina came in 46^th in the nation, helping 1 percent of the people in N.C. who needed a diploma (all age groups and not just recent high school dropouts). There was a failure rate for African Americans at 17.5 percent which was just 2,5 percent below the poorest performing states (22 of them) where the failure rate was 20 percent or more. For Latinos the failure rate was 9.1 percent.

Lowest failure rate in the nation was 2.8 percent for African Americans. Highest rate was 31.8 percent.

Lowest failure rate in the nation was 2.1 percent for Latinos. Highest rate was 25.8 percent.

You can see that Donald Trump had nothing to do with that. But since I know ways to help communities everywhere in great need, I know that at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic I wrote that there would be larger gaps in education. I recently found a report about GED in Texas and that was not good. The Trump Administration did nothing to help matters and the blame has gotten passed around. Donald Trump and his education “Secretary” did nothing to help even though I predicted worse gaps for students because of the pandemic that we faced. The problem started in MARCH of 2020 under TRUMP.

And for North Carolina, shouldn’t people know what is going on. Will you trust me when I tell you that helping students pass their state tests is the same methodology used in preparing students for the GED. In many, many cases, parents and other adults are the recipients of excellent preparation either by teachers or accomplish the same thing on their own.

I understand that lots of students did not attend classes during the pandemic. That problem can be greatly reduced if there is another pandemic. We know that internet or broadband is not available everywhere. About a decade ago, I purchased an inexpensive tablet for a man I met at a huge, important meeting to help men and women who were returning from jail or prison. I prepared him by helping obtain an email to communicate with others when others did not help him. A list could be prepared for all teachers that would result in getting students to prepare better or build back better.

And finally, back to Congresswoman Foxx and her dedicated team and American campus life. You will not read things “My Way” on Fox News or get it from Virginia Fox.

Please Say It Again Professor Strauss

After the aftermath of the Congressional Workforce Hearing which has made immense news everywhere, here is a case of a Jewish professor who spoke out wishing to see Palestinians killed or so it seemed he wished this upon innocent people. It took days for people to have a concrete example why, just why, context matters. Here the context was not really revealed by the video that surfaced which resulted in action being taken against Professor Strauss.

And Bill Ackman along with those repugnant members of Congress have not done a thing to protect Jews on campus after the congressional hearing. Ackman and others started to dox students that spoke out in support of the pro-Palestinian cause. And at Harvard the new president who replaced Claudine Gay has indicated that Jewish students are being “shunned” on campus. This was predictable by experts in antisemitism who called for free speech on campus, but also a dialogue between uncomfortable points of view. Those views could be racist, sexist, antisemitic, etc, but Foxx had no clue. She persists in her quest because she has power and she now wants Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona to resign for not denouncing calls for genocide. What Republicans really want is to eliminate the Department of Education completely and its programs to assist minorities.

And if you think about the call for Cardona to resign and the domino effect unleashed by Virginia on the Right Foxx and others, shouldn’t this put pressure on the president to ask for Cardona’s resignation. The White House raised its own voice against The Ivy League 3. And shouldn’t or can’t part of that domino effect on the president to be that he should resign if he doesn’t ask for the resignation of Cardona?

This video had content that Strauss spoke about. Hamas not the Palestinian people. And students chose to remove that important context.

The Scourge of Antisemitism in the World Foreign Affairs Committee Republican

This committee hearing did not kill two birds with one stone, as you will soon see.

The Wiesenthal Center sent me the video of this presentation by experts on antisemitism and I watched it. There were four speakers from the Jewish community who presented information and at one point the name of Professor Deborah Lipstadt was mentioned but she was not present. Another name that was mentioned was a political leader in England. That man is Jeremy Corbyn. Jeremy Corbyn is named as an “enabler” of antisemitism. In the presentation of Elan Carr, he mentioned that Russia’s leader, Putin, is allowing Russia to spread antisemitism along with Iran. This antisemitism is known to be spreading in Ukraine and Latin America through the social media platforms.

I can assure you that all this information was acceptable to Rep. Keating who thanked the speakers. I continued on to watch the Q&A and it was amazing to hear Mr. Kean comment about the answers, including that of Ms. Rodan-Benzaquen. Lots of her material appear in the book by Professor Lipstadt: Antisemitism: Here and Now. I wonder if Kean, Keating, Costa, and Lawler have read the book?

I must speak out. Antisemitic enablers pages 44-67. “Trump’s antisemitic followers believe that his dog whistles give them free rein to openly acknowledge their contempt for racial, minorities, Muslims, homosexuals, and Jews. There was talk of denouncing others (foreigners) and the call for changes here in the United States, but no warning about Donald Trump. The Republicans mentioned were only partially prepared for this hearing. Representative Dean spoke out and she emphasized the importance of education as she told how she was, among other things, a teacher of writing. Rep. Titus also spoke out.  Rep. Manning also spoke about how she must have guards outside her synagogue and how her own personal life has been affected in North Carolina. She mentioned that the First Amendment is a problem (which is known to most people including IVY League university presidents).

And there is now doxing of Jews taking place and may soon arrive at our doors. This comes from a Jewish news agency and is not fake news.

I was thinking of Bill Ackman and right-wing Jews who previously instigated action against students on Ivy League Campuses. Frightening news in America and down under.

American Jews should hold those repugnant members of Congress responsible as well as those people who have made news to fight for Jews when they really didn’t know how and ended up making a mess for Jews.

The right-wing of Jews, neo-Nazis, MAGA, Christian White Supremacists, French, Russian, Israeli as well as hate by people on the left is of great concern to me. And I left out other countries of concern just to be brief. It was hard enough to start and maintain a huge campaign in a divided nation and I saw the division growing and growing before others did. There is history to learn and share and it is not just about The Holocaust.

 It all goes back to the best motion picture of 1937 that I saw in black and white around 1955 in my home. Perhaps many of the Jews that are friendly with and who have the ear of Congresswoman Foxx may know what I am referring to. That movie did not even mention the word “Jew.” The Nazis had certain controls over the film industry including Jewish owned companies. That happened because Germany sold huge amounts of theater seats for American movies. And a teenager, without his knowing it, has been placed on the path to call out injustices (which I have done here) by forcefully using the expression in French J’Accuse. And that needs no translation. Let’s take that back to the CD #5 of North Carolina to share with the entire state of North Carolina. Why stop with Congresswoman Foxx’s district? Congresswoman Foxx has enabled others to make a mess at Harvard, other Ivy League Schools, and more. For African Americans to know, I created the Ivy League 3 name thinking about the Central Park 5 Rapists that Donald Trump wanted executed back in the day. Young men who were exonerated of the charge of rape in Central Park.

I understand that lots of Republicans cannot be honest about Donald Trump. They want to keep power and helped empower Trump. The early Trump-Hitler comparisons are valid even though I know that they are not equal. Trump should never have been the candidate in 2016.

Medan, France is a small village outside Paris, but it is very important. Culture and history matter. There are Jewish museums around the world and Medan has a museum devoted to a Jew named Alfred Dreyfus. He was the victim of a plot by the French military and largely because he was a “Jew.” I am almost 79 years old now, but I learned about Dreyfus around 1955 watching television. It was a black and white movie. There was no mention at all that this movie made in 1937 was The Best Motion Picture of 1937. The actor, Paul Muni, was new to me, but Jewish people had seen him on the Yiddish stage in New York and it might have been around that time that Marlon Brando called Muni the best actor he had ever seen.

The Dreyfus Museum is part of the Maison Zolá in Medan. Emile Zolá is a hero in France who in 1898 exposed the French military for its conspiracy in what is known around the world as “The Dreyfus Affair” which was probably the most important trial of the 19th Century.

Medan seems like a great place to visit and that is my plan. It was my plan to stay there, but I had to abandon that thought. I did lots of research and found a hotel to stay in and the management was superb. I was informed about things concerning the Maison Zolá that I knew nothing about. That information resulted in helping to navigate my efforts to fight antisemitism. And you will not find that kind of information on travel websites which tell the public things that are helpful that can increase the value of their trip. In my case it was the Hotel Clos Magedon.

There is a lot of antisemitism being reported on campuses and in public schools. Emile Zolá risked his life to fight antisemitism to save one man’s life. It makes me think of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and what he did to fight segregation and hate in America. Dr. King was murdered and Emile Zolá was no doubt murdered in his home by someone or people who wanted him dead (through asphyxiation). The lesson of The Dreyfus Affair can be and will be a powerful lesson for all Americans that the French can share with US to “bringing France closer to the United States.”

We think of Paris and its banks (left and right). The Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. There’s the Moulin Rouge. Jewish people are fond of seeing Le Marais which is rich in Jewish history and culture. Le Marais is where Eastern European Jews fled to after Hitler attacked Poland in September 1939 and those Jews fell into Hitler’s trap as France was easily defeated in World War II. What followed was the round up of Jews in The Vel D’Hiv and Jews were transported to Drancy and Bobigny before being sent to death camps. Medan should be remembered, and it is accessible on public transportation. I wish I had known about Medan in the 1970s when I first traveled to France.

A French-United States collaboration is needed since antisemitism and antisemitic acts are on the rise. And there were acts of violence in faraway places caused by the antisemitism of the 19th century. Learning about The Dreyfus Affair, in my opinion, would enhance the current efforts to fight antisemitism and cause millions of people to say, “I didn’t know that.” And the Zionist movement had its roots in the press coverage of that “Affaire” in France as Theodore Herzl was one of the reporters covering the event. This was the spark of Zionism that the world is talking about today. More awareness is needed right now, and I can see the message going into colleges, universities, high schools, and middle schools to teach students much better. Zolá-Dreyfus is taught in the schools of France. The United States needs to do much more. Now is the moment for action.

And let me start an effort to correct misinformation prevalent in the United States and perhaps elsewhere. The word “woke” has been attributed by lots of people incorrectly. Social justice is the theme of the “Dreyfus Affair” and Captain Dreyfus finally obtained justice after a decade. He was exonerated. The word “woke” in American politics is attributed to communism or Marxism. Jews were guaranteed equality in the Soviet Union from the beginning, but finally in the 1960s it came to light of the existence of antisemitism in the Soviet Union and even in Yiddish news that was supportive of the Soviet rulers. “The Psychology of Prejudice” was released, and that paper was based on the prejudicial behavior against Jews and Negroes in the United States. That sparked a call to eradicate this evil. Soviet Jews were finally able to achieve freedom with their feet as they left the Soviet Union and moved in great numbers to the United States, Israel, and other countries. All the talk about “woke” and the media parroting the word, adds up to the same effort of the Soviet Union to diminish or eliminate something evil that exists both officially and privately.

President Macron made world news opening La Maison Zolá-Musée Dreyfus in October 2021 and I reported it in The Force 2020 DDT. And here are some of his words at that time “I say to the young: forget nothing of these fights,” he said. “In the world in which we live, in our country and in our Republic, they are not over.” Macron recognized that the climate of hate against minorities in France reminded him of that of “The Dreyfus Affair.” From 1894-2024 the lessons and current events require us to do more not less to fight hate.

November 8, 1923 was Hitler’s Putsch attempt and he would up in jail.

November 9, 1938 was the start of The Night of Broken Glass or Kristallnacht.

Joseph Goebbels gave Hitler the idea. After all the murder and destruction and violence, Hitler met Goebbels on November 10, 1938 in Hitler’s favorite restaurant in Munich, the Osteria Bavaria. Popitz, the Prussian Minister of Finance, said to Goebbels that the perpetrators must be punished. Goring replied, “My dear Popitiz, do you wish to punish the Fuhrer?”And Hitler continued to keep his role a secret. That was his strong resolution.

January 6, 2021 is now the subject of a resolution. Do you get it? Matt Gaetz and scores of Republicans are in on the Trump Resolution 2024.

Kristallnacht and the Insurrection. And Hitler never went to jail.

Republicans lost! That was the Election of 1944 and Roosvelt died just over a year later on April 12, 1945. I read that he really did not wish to run for a fourth term, but he indicated that he would run if the war had not ended. This was another landslide for Roosevelt, but I have read about the gains made by the Republican Party since 1936. Badly needed help for Americans was slowing down and once Pearl Harbor was attacked, people got jobs, but others still were in need.

The Roosevelt Administration was the victim of antisemitism, but there was also antisemitism in his administration, especially in holding back efforts to help Jews afflicted by Nazism after the rise of Hitler.

When he was inaugurated on January 20. 1945, he spoke about helping Europe and allies across the world.

The U.S. could not “live alone in peace.” American First had been one of his enemies.

Well-being is dependent on “the well-being of other nations far away.”

The United States was now “citizens of the world.”

“The only way to have a friend is to be one.”

And that comes to you at a moment when Trump’s friend Putin is giving more support to Iran. Nice work Mr. America First.

And in between much of the information of that chapter was a reference to the Red Army on July 22, 1944, marching into Lublin and they were horrified by what they saw. They entered Majdanek, the death camp.

Zigzagging trenches of death where 18,000 Jewish prisoners were killed and buried. Other camps were soon discovered.

Those people who died and those who survived were “hostages.” And there had been attempts to free Jews for weapons, for example.

Hostage is a person seized or held as security for the fulfillment of a condition: And now people Trump’s people who lost the Battle of January 6, 2021 are called “hostages” by him along with that so-called God like chorus in Congress and elsewhere. And in the news right now, a suburban Chicago couple just got charged for their role in that battle. In this case, it appears that they were walking around and posted things so there is proof. They have been released.

And Trump calling his people hostages at this moment diminishes the plight of families being held by Hamas.

And later news was made a judge appointed by President Ronald Reagan wants to make things clear about how dangerous Trump is.

The judge provides our nation with this that he “fears that such destructive, misguided rhetoric could presage further danger to our country.”

I was told that the man who posted antisemitic conspiracy who supports the extreme migrant politics of Governor Abbott of Texas should be arrested. I replied to him Freedom of speech.

People are awarded honors posthumously so why not finally arrest Hitler? It could work for me but not for others including neo-Nazis who would even support Hitler if he were alive today.

April 30, 1945

Hitler and Eva Braun marry in an underground ceremony in the middle of the night. He names his successors and provides this critical, Nazi screed “Centuries will pass away” but”the hatred will ever renew itself against…(the) international Jewry.” The couple was affirming their Nazi wedding vows adhering to the Aryan race.

Braun bit down on a cyanide capsule and Hitler raised a pistol to his right temple. Indeed that was right. And other Nazis commited suicide.

How many Americans thought about our college campuses and the hate that exists there? The border crisis now is bigger than even inflation now according to polls and previously Fox News reportings were trying to convince Americans that inflation was the number one issue. Then the numbers increased as they have in the past. We used to hear complaints about 20 million illegal immigrants and Republicans rejected immigration reform. And we learned that Obama deported more immigrants than Trump did.

And for now, Harvard has rejected the political moves of Bill Ackman and others who wish to change the course of that institution. There is a new lawsuit by a young Jewish student there whose name is Shabbos that I found out about this morning. He is a student representative. Since the problems across America have been taking place for a decade or more and Donald Trump has been declared an “enabler” of antisemitism, why has his information been ignored and/or neglected by the press and the Republican Party and others? In other words why weren’t policies in place in January 2021 when Joe Biden took over just after the Battle for the Capital on July 6, 2021? The Battle for our nation. Trump lost! He might have won if DeSantis and Abbott had sent in the troops back then to help Trump. And what was Bill Ackman’s state of mind in those days (and the minds of others).

The immgration issue is much bigger than the issue of antisemitism and hate on campus. I found out that African American students are being mistreated on campus in Pennsylvania and that should be addressed by Trump’s Battalion in Congress (Foxx, Stefanik, and others). Hate is simmering and in addition to nothing being in place to help by Trump in Jaunary 2021 we have a Battalion that has done little or nothing more than investigate. That is just what the colleges and universitiies are facing. The best information about fighting hate speech on campus has been and is that we allow free speech. Has Governor Abbott or any other governor arrested the man who blamed a Jewish organization that supports the migrants (Catholics and others do the same)? What action has been taken that we could call a strong action against hate.

And even outside what I call the Ivy League 3, there are protests by Jews in New York City and the supportive press is writing that the NYC Department of Education is doing nothing to protect Jews when the truth for weeks is that police have been assigned to protect a Jewish teacher in a Queens high school. I know from reading about antisemitism that in Washington State back in 2017, a Jewish teacher and his wife had to leave a college when the administration told them that the campus police could not protect them after the husband was threatened with violence. Republicans seem to be burning up that history in order to destroy our nation’s college and universities (much or most of them). Trump and his Secretary of Education, it seems to me, were sleeping on the job making this situation in 2023-2024 much worse. These and more are well documented things to know and to think more deeply about.

In discussing “An Eye for an Eye” many years ago with a rabbi as another Jewish man walked alongside us, the man said to me “kill them all (Arabs or Palestinians). That is also a form of calling for genocide that exists. I found the man reprehensible, but that hate speech was not directed at anyone as a threat to his or her life. It’s a terrible experience to share, but I must share it.

After the suicides including Goebbels, his wife and six young children, the hunt was on for thousands of Nazi officials and military officers. Thank goodness our nation’s military was not cooperating with 45 on that hateful day in our history. And people continue to be found who participated in that Battle in 2021. And repugnant people want US only to think and move forward. I will not.

And Fox News just put out an article about a speaker coming to Harvard who has posted things and spoken out against Israel. At the bottom of the article, we learn that there are other speakers including Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. You are not going to find in that article that Trump is an “enabler” of antisemitism only because they probably don’t know that. But Fox News knows some of the facts about Trump that has made him an enabler. I wouldn’t invite either one to speak at Harvard, but I believe that Professor Lipstadt would approve of the two being invited because people might be able to learn from opposing views. I was just thinking about that Holocaust denier, Nick Fuentes, that got together with Kanye West and Trump for dinner and a talk.

And Trump has been arrested. And as I am close to finishing that book about The Plot to Assassinate Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin, I wondered what would America be like today if we had lost Roosevelt or even after Roosevelt had died and Trump had been his vice president. Can you imagine 1944 before D-Day and Trump telling Americans and particularly Jewish Americans that I have gotten along with both the Emperor of Japan and Hitler and we are going to have peace in 24 hours. Trump would have been the right man to make a deal at that time, instead of seeking “unconditional surrender” from those Axis powers. Joe Biden are you paying attention? 24 hours. How can Republicans get rid of Trump in 24 hours?

There was plenty of talk about assassinations back then and action as well.

Hitler had attempts on his life. Heinrich Heydrich was assassinated in Prague.

Franklin D. Roosevelt was hated and feared his own assassination.

Perhaps you might know of even more people back then that fit into this category.

Let me keep it simple.

President Roosevelt and staff decided to go to Teheran, Iran by ship.

I was reading about a torpedo that was heading toward the ship where Roosevelt was on.

I spoke to a family member about this, and everyone knew that great lengths were taken to keep our nation’s president safe. And among other things, he did not wish to go to Teheran to meet Churchill and Stalin. The Nazis were clearly after Roosevelt, and they had friends in the United States before Pearl Harbor was attacked in December 1941.

I want back to my reading the next chapter and what I was reading was ridiculous. The navy which escorted Roosevelt’s ship decided to show off. Balloons were sent into the air and gunners on battleships accurately took down the balloons. Roosevelt was very delighted as he was consumed by the action.

After reading that the torpedo came into view. I spoke to a family member and it the discussion was able spy and how dangerous it was to do the things that navy was doing in the middle of the ocean with the United States at war.

Getting back to the book, the torpedo fired at the Iowa which was one of the best ships in the navy was fired by the destroyer the USS William D. Porter which was escorting the president. Several torpédos had been fired as part of the demonstration for the president. And it soon became known that “the torpedo” in question had not had its explosives removed.

Harry Hopkins remarked that the person who shot the torpedo “must have been some damn Republican.” This was not serious talk today like we experience in our news.

The Iowa started to turn, waves were created, and the torpedo detonated in the waves about 1,000 yards from the Iowa.

Every member of the Porter was arrested (officers and others). And the ship was sent to nearby Bermuda where a “full investigation” took place.
