The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.”
Guess who said that?
In 2019 I declared that the time to denounce people was over for me and I called for action. That was in writing in The Force 2020 DDT. And recently on campus, recognizing how people with more experience than I have wanted to protect “free speech” on campus, it made me think deeply while other men just talked. I looked at the world and saw the opposite of that. People who advocated “free speech” collapsed because of what happened after October 7, 2023. They collapsed, but colleges upheld free speech even after two Ivy League professors resigned and the other school got an “F” rating from the ADL’s recent report. I supported college campuses with knowledge and help as much as I could.
With that said, I bought a new book yesterday. And I was under pressure as I bought it. I had no more than 5 more minutes to spend in the store before I had to leave. An important appointment was waiting for me. I chose the book and paid for it and left the store. POLAND 1939. My wife picked me up and I tossed the book into the passenger’s seat just to take care of something else before going to that appointment. I returned and my wife who is Polish told me that she was going to read the book. That shocked me, but I found out also why she said that. She pointed to this “Exemplary….About as good as military history can be.” -TIMOTHY SNYDER, NEW YORK TIMES
We love Snyder’s work and Timothy Snyder is one of the historians advising President Biden.
It only took a few pages or reading to provide content for this article that I hope will shed more light on The War on Campus, 2023-2024. Though both countries (political parties) declared war on Hitler’s Germany (college campuses right now) on September 3, 1939, after the German’s failure to withdraw from Poland, they did nothing to aid their ally, shamefully leaving Poland to its fate (college campuses). Maybe you should read this paragraph one more time to see the type of parallel more clearly?
I have thought about the United States when neo-Nazis organized among hundreds of thousands of German immigrants, citizens, and others during these six months. And knowing what happened in France and North Africa among Jews and Muslims was a powerful source of knowledge for me. But even before doing those readings of the Muslim and Jewish Brotherhood that existed, I wrote this in The Force 2020 DDT.
Intifada Talk Gets Attention
Posted January 15, 2023
In Michigan there is a call for an “Intifada” against Israel or death to the Jews. When I started writing about the Arab-Israeli conflict in the 1980s, there was no talk of an intifada. Fresh in our minds were wars between Arab nations and Israelis. How many Jews in New York City or elsewhere knew the history? I read a Jewish history book and spent lots of time hitting tennis balls from the late 1970s through those years leading up to the “Intifada.” And then one day an Israeli that I knew said something to me that I could never forget and it was laced with extreme prejudice against the Israeli Arabs. My last article in Jewish Business News is revealing. Congresswoman Omar’s Mistake: The Damage Is Done
By Martin Danenberg Published March 10, 2019
Among other things including something important about The Holocaust, I wrote this “
Ever since I watched the movie Exodus, I knew that Palestinians were divided during the war and I later learned about the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem who wanted to destroy all Jews. I also noticed severe prejudice against the Palestinian people long before most Jews had a clue about what was going on. From my own viewpoint, nobody should talk about the Nakba and the attack on Deir Yassin without mentioning the massacre of Hebron in 1929. Nobody! Events need equal time. And then there is this.”
AND I later wrote this.
As for Congresswoman Omar? I expected that she would improve, but I did write that just like Trump she had stirred the pot of anti-Semitism back then. “Finally we can give some thought here to the community that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar serves in Minnesota. No she doesn’t have to go to Israel (yet) and visit the Holocaust Museum. She can read the Holocaust Chronicles at home and not use her trip as a photo opportunity to prove a point. She has work to do in her district.” And I wanted her to share my views with her community in Minnesota.
We are all concerned about what is being said in Michigan and making news. And remember that I sometimes call myself Emile Zolá. Death to the Jews was being shouted in France in the 1890s and there was violence throughout the French Empire against Jews. And those days led to Zionism calling for a Jewish homeland and The Balfour Declaration of 1917. Theodore Herzl was there and he led the movement. And yesterday I wrote to Meir Elran who is being attacked in Chicago for being attacked by communities there. Again I ask if all the people attacking him know the full history leading up to the formation of The State of Israel. Or do they only know half of it?
I now tell you that Fox (Foxx) News helped create an atmosphere where some Jews and people who moved forward in the name of helping Jews took action in Congress. Helping Jews, but with no help given). There has been a long trail since. Jewish college students, professors, rabbis, Jewish and Israeli leaders, and elected officials went on Fox News. Now mainstream media and Joe Scarborough are speaking out. None of them provided any help to Jews on campus while advocating vigorously for “free speech.” A famous lawyer flipped badly since the Congressional hearing. We can include in that trail, a civil rights leader from New York City, and Repugnican and Democratic elected officials from Pennsylvania, Texas, New York, Florida, and many other states.
Mike Johnson Booed by Columbia Pro-Palestinian Protesters
Story by Aila Slisco just came onto my newsfeed. And that is Mike Johnson from the House of Representatives who was booed. The article made the point that the demonstrations are growing. I say thank Congresswoman Virginia Foxx for this mess and one Jewish voice that made media news, spoke thanks to her for what is taking place. What has taken place actually is the shutdown of classes at Columbia because Jews now feel more threatened, even though Mayor Adams reported that the credible evidence reveals no such threat. At USC, the opposite appears to be true as speakers have been cancelled including the valedictorian who is Muslim who has objected along with a vast community of supporters.
My own voice I would call clear and truthful against a huge amount of people who would disagree with me. But let’s get back to POLAND, 1939. The British called “the intervening period” before the Germans smashed through France in May 1940 the “Phoney War” and the French called it the “Drole de guerre” or the “funny war.” And on campus, these same things had been going on for a decade or more and the best research will show that during the Trump years nothing was done about it. And when I wrote repeatedly for years that Trump was “stirring the pot of antisemitism” both in Israel and in the good old USA, I did not know that Professor Lipstadt was calling Trump an “enabler” of antisemitism.
Emerson College Boston: Police clash with students holding pro-Palestinian protest in angry scenes
Story by Liam Buckler • and that article appeared hours after the last one. I suspect that much more will be coming in the news.
I forgot to mention that Jewish actors have come to campus to voice their concerns and that has been fueling the flames. Police have been called to make arrests and that takes police away from areas of the city that require more help. And I wrote that we needed more police protection during the Trump years, even before the Black Lives Matter protests.
Let’s get back to POLAND, 1939. I have provided you with news that may be new to you and the interpretations of people (unnamed one). You may know who they are if you have followed the news carefully. Let’s go first to the Soviet interpretation of the attack on Poland. Soviet historians portrayed its invasion of Poland as a “humanitarian effort.” Think of what Foxx News did. The Soviets pretended that they did not invade Poland which persists into Russia today. That’s 80 years of denial.
And getting to Hitler and his attack on Poland, we see this (who does it remind you of the United States of America? Hitler said ”The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.” Please do not introduce this into the current Trump trials.
And two more Jewish students just joined Fox News to support how unsafe they feel on the Columbia Campus. And students just got arrested on the “Ivy League” campus of the University of Texas for protesting. UT is not an “Ivy League” school. Even a Fox News photographer was arrested there. And the article by Fox News 7 included this. Governor Abbott had asked for a school revision on “free speech” on campus. And In March, Abbott ordered Texas universities to revise their free speech policies in an effort to curb antisemitism in the wake of the current conflict between Hamas and Israel.
This request for universities to revamp their free speech policies singled out pro-Palestinian groups. And while it aimed to address antisemitism, it did not aim to address Islamophobia.
This is where Foxx News failed in Congress and even Fox News 7 knows that. And what does Sean Hannity of Fox News have to say about that?
I did an outreach yesterday to one of the most famous of the Black colleges and found this. And I have visited Black news and found an article just now that is critical of the Black and liberal pro-Palestine supporters because he wants things his way. Here is just one little unit of thought “Palestinian liberation organizers and leaders should sit with Black liberation organizations and leaders so we can start with a real plan where the relationship is centered on anti-zionism and not to call on the blacks when you need protest bodies.” And that is by Tory Russell who was a Ferguson organizer. Of course, there is much more than this and I can assure you that I had such concerns as early as 2017 and wished to reach out to students on college campuses.
Although have recently learned about some organizing of Black Solidarity with Israel and done my usual outreach, I liked things but noticed shortcomings. And we can see this coming from a “Black” college in Georgia, “Our SJP has a rich history of solidarity and support for global struggles for liberation: Black and Palestinian liberation are intrinsically linked, and our central belief is that the fight for freedom continues until there is true liberation for all people,” the letter says in part. And this information goes out to sister colleges all over our nation. Again this is not your typical “Ivy League” school. There was some nice balance in the article I read, but that was incomplete because again 1948 is the starting point of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and I will use 1929 (Hebron) or even before until I die. And I believe that the HBCU’s could learn more at this time.
Academic freedom and free speech. Let me take you back to American and Hitler in Los Angeles. Ellis Jones and Robert Noble and their organization called “Friends for Progress.” Jones was educated at Yale. He could speak to crowds of 400, saying “I am for Germany and for Hitler. And provide his audience with the Nazi salute and “Heil Hitler.” Steven J. Ross concluded that they were not demanding a change in policy in America and “they were welcoming an American Kristallnacht.” And these friends f Hitler would find a way to explain their action as “anti-Communists” and as “defenders of American democracy.” And these men spoke and spread the word that “freedom of speech” was disappearing from America.
And do I have to repeat that those college presidents told Congresswoman Foxx that when speech results in action on campus that violates campus rules (students say that camping out against the objections of the school administration and its rules are exercises of their “free speech”). Their arrests are consistent with what the “ivy League 3” told Foxx in December 2023. And most of the world thought what those presidents had said was wrong. How do we straighten out the mess made by Foxx on that day? How do we?
Nazis really wanted to end “free speech” in America before Pearl Harbor and now even the media (including Jewish media) including college media is blocking me from speaking out.
Even at this time, unofficial sources speaking for the police in New York are pointing to the police arrests on campus as the action that has been badly needed for some time to protect New York City. The fact is that the police were called into private property by the school (Columbia) and are not allowed to go in unless a crime has been committed. Soviet, Nazi, police interpretations that bear misinformation are now in this article for all to see.
I just got this in an email from a rabbi “in the face of rising antisemitism, we are reminded that the most powerful stance we can take is one of pride in our identity. The best way to fight antisemitism is not by dimming our light but by amplifying it! It’s in the joyful celebration of our Jewish identity — wearing our kippah, lighting the Shabbat candles, affixing the mezuzah, observing Passover, and engaging in the traditions that have sustained our people and faith through the ages.” And the opposite has been recommended as well. We are divided. More has to be done.

BDS and Professor Lipstadt from Antisemitism: Here and Now
“The BDS movement is a direct descendent of Marxism antisemitism and anti-Zionism,” she writes in her book. If you look at the beginning of her statement, she goes back to Arab boycotts as early as 1945 and then shows the world progression moving in the 21st century.
It took me a couple of minutes to do more research than is provided by facts in her book (she has even recently said that on a certain issue she does not know the history well and I say that is being honest).
Boycotts in Mandatory Palestine
1922 some Arab leaders sought to orchestrate anti-Jewish boycotts
. Palestinian Arabs “who were found to have broken the boycott … were physically attacked by their brethren and their merchandise damaged”
1929 or the same year as The Massacre in Hebron or innocent, Orthodox Jews (67 killed) another, stricter boycott was imposed on Jewish businesses
in 1933 The Arab Executive Committee of the Syrian-Palestinian Congress called for a boycott of Jewish businesses
in 1934 the Arab Labor Federation conducted a boycott as well as an organized picketing of Jewish businesses.
In 1936, the Palestinian Arab leadership called another boycott and threatened violence against those who did not comply
So you see, I have qualified with facts what Professor Lipstadt calls “anti-Zionism.”
Let’s not get the impression that Marxism was the dominant force unless I have not done my homework right here.
And that my friends was and is antisemitism since in one way or another the target is to eliminate Jews (through war or a world economic attack).
And I repeat one more time that almost nobody went to the defense of our colleges, universities, and their presidents. I understand that there are professors who have become toxic on campus. I know exactly how it feels to be toxic by what I would call a toxic administration. I stand with the college presidents. And I do not have to be loyal to any Democrat in The White House, a state capital, in the Senate or House of Representatives, in a major city or in a suburb. People were loyal to Hitler and to Trump and look what happened.
